So, you want to know more about us, eh?
"Who's Louie?" is a new Indie-style band from the Ottawa Valley area who mainly play a large variety of swing, blues, jazz and ska music, but they have been known to play other styles such as rock 'n roll.
It the beginning, a real old guy (PEETY!!!) had is heart set on starting a jazz band in a small town, south of Ottawa, called Chesterville. In most small towns, any jazz combos are non-exsitant, so the old guy (PEETY x2!!!) did his darndest to gather a group of high school punk-rockers and turn them into a coffee-sippin' house band for a small café. So, every Friday, the band would get together and scare off the customers. The scared customers off so badly, they decided to go solo (away from just one café) and play more gigs in the area. Now, "Who's Louie?" (appropriately named from their most famous song, 'Louie, Louie') has been involved in talent shows, fund raisers, private birthday parties, and other small gigs, like other restaurants and café's.
